Electronics Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electronics Technician Circuit Board Specialist to join our team. As an Electronics Technician Circuit Board Specialist, you will be responsible for testing, aligning, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying circuit boards to meet specified functionality. This role offers significant opportunities for growth in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Test various circuit board chassis to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Diagnose and repair circuit boards down to the component level.
• Perform adjustments, calibrations, and alignments on circuit boards.
• Modify circuit board functions to conform to specific requirements.
• Set up and use standard test apparatus or equipment to conduct functional and operational tests.
• Analyze and interpret test data to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Adjust, calibrate, and align circuitry and components while documenting the effects on performance.
• Complete all necessary paperwork associated with testing and troubleshooting tasks.
• Fabricate cables for use with test equipment and circuit boards as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to troubleshoot circuit boards down to the component level.
• Strong proficiency with testing equipment, including voltmeters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators.
• In-depth knowledge of electronics, particularly in the Radio Frequency and digital electronics field.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Strong deductive reasoning skills for troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and skilled in soldering.
• Open-minded and willing to perform all tasks necessary to achieve production goals.
• Background in radio communication is a plus.
• Ability to use mechanical tools for the fabrication and assembly of chassis.
