We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in production management, exceptional team leadership skills, and a solid understanding of manufacturing best practices. The Production Manager will oversee a large workforce and drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, efficient resource management, and effective leadership.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage daily production operations across multiple shifts

  • Supervise a team of 6+ Production Supervisors and a total workforce exceeding 90 employees

  • Monitor KPIs, implement corrective actions, and ensure production goals are met or exceeded

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, quality, and safety

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments including engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain

  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies

  • Maintain and improve workflow processes, capacity planning, and labor utilization

  • Train, coach, and develop supervisory staff to build a strong and capable leadership pipeline

Compensation:

Pay will be offered based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field (required)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role

  • Proven experience managing a team of 5+ production supervisors and a total workforce of 75+ employees

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment is highly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, improve processes, and foster a high-performance culture

  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
