The 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the plant, grounds, and production equipment in optimal working condition through preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. This role ensures equipment reliability and supports the safe and productive manufacture of quality products.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns
- Perform preventative maintenance on facility and processing equipment
- Follow all safety, sanitation, HACCP, SQF, and GMP standards
- Submit parts and service requests when needed
- Respond to emergency situations during off-hours and participate in on-call rotation
- Maintain inventory, shop tools, and equipment
- Participate in formal and informal training to enhance skill set.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
Compensation:
Pay will be offered based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.

Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree from a technical school preferred
- Must supply your own general hand tools
- Must obtain:
- Waste Water Treatment Operator License Level 1 within 60 days of employment
- Boiler Special to Operate License within 90 days of employment
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical repairs of industrial equipment
- Skilled in cutting, welding, machining, and fabricating
- HVAC, plumbing, or carpentry experience is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
