We are looking for a proactive and organized Material Handler to manage the flow of goods within our facility. In this role, you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, responsible for the safe movement of materials between receiving, storage, and production. Your efforts will ensure that our inventory is accurate, our shipping deadlines are met, and our facility operates at peak efficiency.

Responsibilities Include

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move, stack, and retrieve stock.
  • Execute shipping and receiving duties, including loading/unloading trucks and verifying the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Maintain precise inventory control by performing regular cycle counts and updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Prepare and stage materials for production lines to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing workflows.
  • Pick, pack, and label outbound orders accurately to meet daily shipping schedules and customer requirements.
  • Identify and report any inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or equipment maintenance needs immediately.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including pre-shift equipment inspections and the maintenance of a clean, hazard-free warehouse.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Equipment Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA-compliant) and experience with reach trucks or sit-down lifts preferred.
  • Logistics Knowledge: Solid understanding of shipping/receiving procedures, including BOL (Bill of Lading) and packing slip verification.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Proficiency in using RF scanners and basic data entry for inventory tracking and warehouse management.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for the duration of an 8-10 hour shift.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills for accurate counting, weighing, and measuring of materials.
  • Organization: Strong attention to detail to ensure correct labeling and orderly storage of diverse inventory items.

Compensation

Pay will be offered based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications, with an expected hourly wage of $22-24/hr.
