We offer a unique opportunity for a General Manager (Export & Textile) to lead a newly established private label and export-focused subsidiary in Istanbul.

Job Opening:

We seek a General Manager (Export & Textile) to join our client's new private label company in Istanbul. This pivotal role will involve spearheading the development and implementation of growth strategies, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring financial and strategic objectives are achieved. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing international trade and sales, particularly in the textile and fashion industry.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Preferably with an MBA or Master's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing international trade and sales, with significant experience in dealing with overseas markets and potential clients
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies in the wholesale or franchise distribution channels
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of clients and working with large-scale production services
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and performance metrics
  • Experience in working with executive committees and boards of directors
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in a second language is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing growth strategies for the brand, focusing on both domestic and international markets
  • Overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in managing sales and post-sales processes
  • Collaborating with the executive committee and board of directors to align on strategic goals and objectives
  • Preparing and presenting strategic plans, financial reports, and growth projections to the board of directors
  • Managing the budgeting process, working closely with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets
  • Leading the development and execution of marketing strategies to drive brand growth and customer engagement
  • Ensuring the effective management of sales channels, including wholesale and franchise distribution
  • Developing and maintaining solid relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers
  • Coordinating and managing internal and external audit processes
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Managing project timelines and ensuring timely delivery of products to clients
  • Participating in international trade fairs and continuously monitoring industry trends and market developments
  • Building and leading a team in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
