Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Austin, TX. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing commercial interiors and ground-up projects, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Client Communication: Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor project teams, including project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Budget Oversight: Work closely with the estimating and finance teams to develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the highest standards of construction quality.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, developing and implementing strategies to ensure project success.
- Timeline Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, proactively addressing any delays and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Reporting: Provide regular project updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 4-5 years of experience in managing commercial interiors and ground-up construction projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Local Expertise: Local to the Austin area or willing to relocate.
- Client-Focused: Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams to success.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic construction environment.
