Freight Operations - Import specialist

After a meeting this afternoon i am delighted to share that we are working in partnership with a Global Transportation business to recruit the following and can be based in the Heywood area.

• Freight Operations - IMPORT (AIR AND OCEAN)
• Heywood 
• £30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits 

Responsibilities

• Handling customs clearances accurately and timely.
• Liaising with internal teams (both UK and international) & external suppliers to ensure on time delivery to customers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipping documents, invoices and related paperwork.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure they have the up-to-date status of all movements.
• -Invoicing in a timely and precise manner, including processing purchase invoices and immediate payments.
•  Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Ensuring admin tasks are kept up to date.
