Responsibilities:

1. **Project Assessment:**

- Review architectural plans and specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements.

2. **Cost Estimation:**

- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for drywall projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

- Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to ensure precision in calculations.

3. **Vendor and Subcontractor Relations:**

- Collaborate with drywall material suppliers, subcontractors, and other vendors to obtain competitive quotes and negotiate favorable terms.

- Maintain relationships with a network of reliable subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

4. **Bid Proposal Development:**

- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that clearly outline the scope of work, pricing breakdowns, and any relevant terms and conditions.

- Submit bids to general contractors or construction project managers within specified deadlines.

5. **Budget Management:**

- Work closely with project teams to establish and manage project budgets based on approved estimates.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in drywall estimating, with a focus on high-end residential projects.

- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
