QA Engineer (Freelancer)

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute test cases for various functionalities of our e-commerce platform, including website navigation, product browsing and search, shopping cart, checkout process, payment gateway integration, order management, promotions, and customer account features, across both our web and mobile applications.
• Perform thorough functional, regression, usability, and performance testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA.
• Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure that issues are resolved completely.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to release.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Provide input on improving the quality assurance processes and best practices.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues and edge cases
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor website and app performance and identify potential bottlenecks.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on web and mobile applications.
• Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with various testing tools and techniques, including browser developer tools and mobile testing tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Experience testing e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Experience testing iOS and Android applications.
