What You'll Do

Pre-Construction Phase

  • Review and analyze design plans, specifications, bill of materials, and other contract documents.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable design and construction guidelines.
  • Conduct bidding processes, evaluate tender proposals, and provide comparative analysis and recommendations.

Construction Phase

  • Coordinate with designers, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project implementation.
  • Monitor construction activities, ensuring alignment with approved plans and quality standards.
  • Validate and review extra works, variation orders, and progress billings.
  • Facilitate job site meetings and ensure orderly progress of work.
  • Inspect construction progress, conduct safety checks, and address quality concerns.

Quality Control

  • Ensure contractor compliance with plans, specifications, and workmanship standards.
  • Assist contractors in interpreting contract documents and obtaining additional design details if necessary.
  • Conduct site observations to verify quality of materials, equipment, and workmanship.
  • Prohibit the use of non-conforming materials and enforce corrective measures for defective works.

Project Documentation

  • Maintain an organized project file, including contracts, permits, and design documents.
  • Prepare regular progress and accomplishment reports.
  • Keep records of agreements, decisions, and official inspections.

Performance Monitoring

  • Evaluate contractor schedules and cash flow plans.
  • Monitor project timelines and recommend solutions to mitigate delays.
  • Assess and recommend approval for change orders and additional works.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Atleast 3-5 years of proven experience in project management for interior fit-outs or similar projects.
  • Ability to communicate articulately and effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple store openings
  • Ability to work with tight timelines
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in interpreting architectural designs, Gantt charts, and cash flow schedules.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Must be comfortable to work in a mobile environment
