Data Analyst (India-based Consultant)

What You'll Do

• Work cross-functionally to gather requirements, develop reports/dashboards, and provide insight to relevant stakeholders by utilizing data analytics
• Perform regular integrity and hygiene checks and automate anomaly detection systems
• Assist in monitoring key business metrics and developing reports across various functions
• Provide descriptive and prescriptive analysis for optimization for different business units
• Develop or improve the design of extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes in order to aggregate data and allow easier access for various teams
• Design and execute queries as requested by various teams
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolution of Data Warehouse related issues
• Develop analytic models (preferably but not required) such as recommendation engines, performance prediction and analysis, dynamic pricing, promotion distribution, campaign product selection, supply management, risk scoring etc. to boost growth

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or any related field
• Minimum 3 - 4 years work experience
• Experience using SQL (Python experience is a plus), a cloud data warehouse system (preferably Google Cloud Platform), and a dashboarding tool (Google Data Studio, Power BI, or Tableau) in a business environment
• Preferably has experience/understanding with MongoDB, PostGreSQL data sources and handling third-party data from Ad Platforms, Google Analytics, etc.
• Preferably has retail/e-commerce business understanding but not required.
• Strong understanding of database structures and data mining principles/ methods
• Highly driven and analytical candidate with good mathematical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Passionate about finding data-driven solutions from large sets of data
• Willing to work following Philippine working hours
