The Role: Professional Interpretation & Mediation

This work-from-home position focuses on Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) and Over-the-Phone (OPI) services, making sure that meaning and cultural details are perfectly translated.

  • Real-Time Translation: Provide expert interpretation during high-stakes calls, including medical emergencies, legal meetings, and emergency 911 dispatch.
  • Technical Accuracy: Smoothly use specific, complex vocabulary across medical, legal, financial, and public safety sectors without any delays.
  • Neutrality & Ethics: Follow the highest industry standards by keeping all information strictly private and remaining completely neutral at all times.
  • Cultural Awareness: Act as a cultural guide, helping to clear up any misunderstandings and ensuring a smooth conversation between both sides.
  • Technical Management: Manage your work schedule through a specialized cloud platform to ensure a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

Who We Are Looking For: Sharp Thinking & Resilience

We want people with a digital-first mindset who have an excellent command of two complex languages.

  • Language Mastery: Native-level or C2 mastery of both Ukrainian and English, including specialized terms and local slang or dialects.
  • Legal Status: You must already have EU Citizenship or a valid Portuguese Residency Card (Título de Residência).
  • Mental Agility: Excellent listening and short-term memory skills to process and repeat complex information instantly.
  • Emotional Strength: The ability to stay calm, focused, and professional during stressful calls, such as crisis or trauma support.
  • Home Office: A quiet, private workspace with high-speed fiber internet (at least 20 Mbps).
