Job Openings German Speaking Technical Property Manager (Hybrid)

About the job German Speaking Technical Property Manager (Hybrid)

We are revolutionizing property management! As a young, rapidly growing PropTech company, we combine traditional HOA (WEG) and rental management with state-of-the-art, proprietary software. While our platform automates standard administrative tasks and offers real-time transparency to property owners, we fully rely on in-house expertise for our technical operations. Instead of outsourcing every technical issue, we are building our own strong technical team of architects, engineers, and trade experts. We value independence, flat hierarchies, and visible performance: anyone who takes on responsibility here makes decisions independently and grows rapidly alongside the company.

To strengthen our team in Eschborn, we are immediately looking for an assertive and self-directed Technical Property Manager (m/f/d).

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Technical Property Care: You take full ownership of the technical management of a residential property portfolio (focusing on large multi-family buildings in the Rhine-Main area).
  • Maintenance & Repairs: You steer daily operations—from initial assessment and prioritization to the complete execution of ongoing repair cases (e.g., pipe bursts, heating, electrical, or facade issues).
  • Major Projects & Renovations: You plan, coordinate, and supervise larger maintenance, modernization, and fire protection measures (partially in the seven-figure budget range), including cost, timeline, and quality control.
  • Contractor Network: You manage external specialist companies and actively build your own reliable, regional network of contractors and service providers.
  • Claims Management: You handle insurance claims end-to-end—from the initial damage assessment and coordination with adjusters to final defect rectification.
  • Owner Meetings & Presentations: You participate in property inspections, present technical matters professionally at HOA meetings (partially in the evening), and assist with evaluating grant applications (e.g., KfW / BAFA).
  • Shaping Digitalization: Through your direct hands-on feedback to our internal software development team, you continuously optimize our proprietary software platform.

Your Profile

  • Experience: At least 4 years of relevant professional experience as a Technical Property Manager or in a technical/trade role (e.g., as a master craftsman or technician), ideally with a clear focus on multi-family houses and HOA (WEG) management.
  • Technical Expertise: Sound technical understanding of core trades (heating, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and structures), as well as routine in independently handling renovations and insurance claims.
  • Network & Mobility: You bring an existing regional network of contractors in the Rhine-Main area, hold a valid Class B driver's license, and value regular on-site appointments (approx. 2–3 days per week in the field).
  • Soft Skills: High level of autonomy ("High Agency"), a confident and authoritative demeanor in front of owner associations, and a structured approach to work.
  • Language Skills: Fluent German (C2 level) for confident negotiations and client management.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with historical/heritage buildings, practical experience with grant applications, or the ambition to quickly advance into a department lead position. A university degree is not required—your practical experience is what counts!

What We Offer (Benefits)

  • Career Accelerator: An extremely fast career track with concrete prospects of advancing to a team lead or head of department position within technical management.
  • Attractive Package: A competitive gross annual salary of €54,000 – €64,000, plus a performance-based bonus, 30 days of vacation, and freely negotiable additional benefits.
  • Company Car: A dedicated company car will be fully provided to you (also for travel within the Rhine-Main area).
  • Real Impact: No rigid corporate bureaucracy, no micromanagement—you have a direct line to executive management and make a noticeable impact on our processes and proprietary software.
  • Flexibility: Modern, flexible working hours with up to 1 day of remote work (Homeoffice) per week outside of on-site appointment days.
