German Speaking Customer Advisor (on-site)

• Location: On-site (Umhlanga, Durban)
• Contract & Schedule: Full-time across a continuous 24/7 rotational schedule (5 working days, 8-hour daily shifts)

Position Summary

We are looking for client-focused German speakers to deliver superior customer support on behalf of an international e-commerce leader. Operating from our office in Umhlanga, you will manage shopper interactions regarding order status, shipment tracking, billing inquiries, and product details. This role offers an excellent entry point for driven candidates looking to build a career in BPO and digital retail.

Core Responsibilities

• Omnichannel Support: Interact with shoppers via email, phone, and web chat in German and English.
• Order Logistics: Assist with order tracking, return requests, and delivery troubleshooting.
• Complaint Resolution: Handle customer complaints effectively using active listening and structured problem-solving.
• Catalog Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of product listings and platform terms.
• CRM Documentation: Log accurate interaction notes into the customer management platform.
• Key Performance Indicators: Consistently achieve quality scores and CSAT benchmarks.

Candidate Profile

• Language Capability: Fluent German skills (minimum B2 level) with strong professional English.
• Education: High school qualification (Matric equivalent).
• Schedule Flexibility: Able to work rotational patterns, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Tech Adaptability: Proficient computer literacy with the ability to switch between system applications efficiently.
• Traits: Empathetic, resilient, and customer-focused; prior experience in BPO or retail is welcome but not required (paid training provided).
