Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a Remote B2B Helpdesk Specialist fluent in German. Your core focus will be assisting retail and commercial merchants who rely on a top-tier Point of Sale (POS) system to run their businesses.

Eligibility Criteria: You must already live in Portugal with legal working rights to apply. This position does not support international relocation.

Role Impact

As the primary point of contact for corporate clients utilizing our advanced POS ecosystem, your priority is to deliver proactive, solution-oriented service. You will ensure their day-to-day business continues uninterrupted by guiding them through system inquiries, transaction hurdles, and equipment setups with clear, step-by-step communication.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Inbound Communication: Manage incoming B2B service requests from German-speaking clients via telephone, email, and web chat.
  • Technical Diagnosis: Walk merchants through software navigation, network connectivity issues, payment processing errors, and basic hardware setups.
  • Client Account Care: Help users understand their billing statements, manage their profiles, and adopt new system feature rollouts.
  • Information Logging: Register comprehensive notes regarding customer issues, troubleshooting steps, and final resolutions in our database.
  • Tier-2 Escalations: Efficiently route advanced technical problems to specialized back-end support teams when immediate solutions aren't available.

What We Look For

Required Qualifications:

  • Language Skills: Native or near-native mastery of German (written/spoken) along with professional English fluency (minimum B2) for company-wide communication and training.
  • Location & Documentation: Current residency in Portugal with valid local paperwork in place (NIF, CRUE, or residency card).
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule within our standard business hours.
  • Aptitude for Tech: Comfort learning unfamiliar software applications, managing multiple open tabs, and explaining technical details in everyday language.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior background in customer care, tech support, or consumer-facing industries like hospitality and retail is a bonus. However, it is not required—comprehensive paid training is provided.

Schedule & Infrastructure

  • Hours: 5 days a week, 8 hours a day (40 hours weekly).
  • Operational Window: Rotating schedules spanning Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
  • Workplace: Entirely telecommuting from your home in Portugal.
  • Hardware Provided: There is no need to use your own computer. A complete, high-tech remote office setup will be delivered directly to your home address.

Compensation & Growth

We offer a highly competitive remuneration package within the Portuguese market:

  • Base Compensation: €1,100 gross per month, distributed 14 times per year (inclusive of summer and winter holiday pay).
  • Performance Rewards: Up to €100 gross monthly in KPI bonuses for meeting quality metrics.
  • Daily Meal Card: €7.63 net per worked day loaded onto a dedicated meal card.
  • Paid Onboarding: Full compensation during your initial training program to ensure you are fully prepared.
