German Speaking Customer Advisor (on-site)

As a German Customer Service Travel Advisor, you will serve as the primary liaison for global passengers, providing superior customer service through phone, webchat, and email mediums. Within this role, you will oversee reservations, itinerary modifications, and cancellations while preemptively addressing issues to guarantee frictionless travel experiences. This job provides ongoing professional training and clear paths for career progression inside a dynamic, worldwide travel network.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Provide exceptional assistance across every contact channel, maintaining complete responsibility for resolving traveler requests.
• Issue Resolution: Attentively hear out customer issues, navigate pushback composedly, and deliver forward-thinking, efficient resolutions.
• Account & Booking Management: Validate and refresh customer file details while precisely handling airline and vacation schedules.
• Clear Communication: Articulate complicated travel guidelines and workflows clearly and comprehensibly in both German and English.
• Operational Excellence: Sustain elevated efficiency, precision, and velocity while managing complicated requests and organizational duties.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Grade 12 / Matric completion.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
• Experience: A minimum of 12 months in an international contact center environment, OR experience working for an airline reservations department or travel agency.
• Background Check: Clean criminal history and a clear credit history.
• Skills: Superior active listening capabilities, dispute resolution skills, effective time management, and the capacity to stay composed under stress.

Working Hours & Location

• Work Arrangement: Fully on-site.
• Location: 19 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town.
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours daily (40 hours per week).
• Working Hours: Rotating shift schedules active between 09:00 AM and 02:00 AM SAST.
• Shift Pattern: Monday through Sunday (Rotational structure).

Remuneration & Benefits

• Base Salary: R 20,000.00 per month.
• Night Shift Allowance: Valid for working hours completed after 7:00 PM.
• Transport Subsidy: Subsidized single-direction commute service made available (Company covers the primary subsidy; worker copay is R315).
