About the Role

We develop leading practice management and billing software specifically designed for dental practices and clinics, ranking among the top solutions nationwide.

As a Senior C++ Software Developer, you will join an agile development team taking full technical ownership of our flagship digital health platform. You will maintain and modernize existing C++ codebases, design new features, and build robust database queries. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who values high product ownership, small-team agility, and building certified, mission-critical healthcare software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Core C++ Development: Take end-to-end responsibility for complex C++ software development tasks and system enhancement.
  • Codebase Evolution: Maintain, refactor, and modernize core legacy code structures while ensuring continuous high stability and execution speed.
  • Database Management: Design and optimize SQL queries and schema implementations using PostgreSQL or comparable RDBMS.
  • Quality & Testing: Write and execute automated unit, integration, and regression tests to maintain high-quality, certifiable software standards.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with product management and customer support to gather requirements, resolve issues, and translate feedback into software features.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • Technical Background: 5–10 years of professional software development experience in C++ and hands-on exposure to legacy code refactoring.
  • Database Expertise: Proven proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
  • Tooling & Workflows: Strong familiarity with Git version control systems.
  • Language Proficiency: C2-level (native/near-native) German and C1-level English fluency.
  • Education: Master's degree (M.Sc., M.A., or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • On-Site Presence: Fully committed to working 100% on-site at our Eggenfelden headquarters.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Embarcadero C++ Builder, MS Visual Studio, or VS Code.
  • Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Background or strong personal interest in the digital health sector.
