About the Business & Core Mission
We are a premier D2C re-commerce brand dedicated to circular economy principles within the high-end designer furniture segment. Through expert, in-house refurbishment, we restore pre-loved luxury furniture to exceptional quality, combating mass consumption and transforming consumer habits across the industry.
Our operations are built around craftsmanship, high customer satisfaction, lean execution, and market disruption. Demonstrating our dedication to impact, 10% of our net annual profits are donated directly to verified environmental and sustainability initiatives.
Position Overview
We are looking for an action-oriented, strategic, and self-directed Performance Marketing Manager (SEA, Meta & Growth) to take full accountability for our digital acquisition operations. Transitioning away from external agency execution, you will partner directly with our founding team to construct, refine, and scale profitable paid advertising campaigns across multiple digital channels.
Core Responsibilities
- Performance Channel Leadership: Direct end-to-end strategy, setup, and optimization across core paid acquisition engines, prioritizing Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Growth Channel Expansion: Continuously test, validate, and scale new acquisition pathways (including Microsoft Advertising, Shopping feeds, Demand Gen, AI-driven campaigns, and organic search synergies).
- Direct Campaign Management: Take full operational control over daily campaign structures, audience testing, bid management, and technical platform adjustments.
- Data Architecture & Measurement: Build and oversee a robust tracking setup using GA4, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Looker Studio, offline conversion imports, and attribution modeling.
- Bottom-Line Focus: Steer budget allocation and campaign efficiency against profitability metrics (POAS, ROAS, CAC, MER, and contribution margins) rather than surface-level traffic numbers.
- AI Integration: Utilize modern AI tools and automation to streamline marketing workflows, ad creation, and operational efficiency.
- Founders Collaboration: Work side-by-side with leadership to tie marketing spend directly to overall revenue targets, gross margins, and business growth.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Background: 3 to 5+ years of direct, hands-on performance marketing experience in a D2C or E-Commerce setting (exposure to home, furniture, or premium consumer goods is an asset).
- Advertising Mastery: Demonstrated success managing and scaling substantial budgets on Google Ads and Meta Ads independently.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Merchant Center, Looker Studio, and Shopify (or similar e-commerce platforms), paired with foundational SEO knowledge.
- Commercial Mindset: Strong financial comprehension of e-commerce metrics, focusing on how ad spend impacts real profitability and contribution margins.
- Execution & Ownership: Highly structured and self-motivated professional capable of building growth functions independently.
- Language Capabilities: Native or professional C1+ fluency in German, paired with strong, professional English skills (B2+).
Key Benefits & Perks
- Strategic Impact & Autonomy: High level of ownership over performance budgets, quick decision-making channels, and direct founder interaction.
- Scaling Environment: Opportunity to lead growth for an established market leader in a expanding green-tech segment.
- Financial Package: Competitive base salary (€40k – €70k depending on experience level), structured pay progression, and performance-aligned profit sharing.
- Time Off & Flexibility: 30 paid vacation days per year and a flexible hybrid schedule after completing an initial 1–2 week on-site onboarding phase.
- Employee Benefits: Allowance toward Deutschlandticket, Urban Sports Club membership options, and daily meal subsidies.
- Work Culture: Agile, supportive, and growth-focused team structure emphasizing merit and personal development.
