About the Role

In this position, you will serve as a frontline protector for the global community of an iconic social media platform. You will be part of a high-energy department tasked with maintaining a secure, inclusive, and supportive online experience for millions of daily active members.

Core Contract Terms

  • Gross Income: €1,237 monthly (distributed across 12 standard annual payments).
  • Time Commitment: 40 hours a week (5 working days per week, 8 hours daily, plus a 60-minute lunch break).
  • Shift Schedule: Flexible, rotating rosters operating Monday to Sunday between 07:00 and 00:00 (Midnight).

Daily Responsibilities

As an Online Safety Specialist, your goal is to protect platform integrity and execute community policies through the following actions:

  • Submissions Audit: Evaluate user-generated uploads—including profiles, video files, images, and text posts—to verify strict alignment with company guidelines.
  • Ecosystem Defence: Spot, flag, and remove abusive, fraudulent, or malicious activity to help sustain a healthy online environment.
  • User Escalations: Investigate and resolve user appeals, safety flags, and account suspensions with deep procedural accuracy.
  • Metric Goals: Maintain an objective viewpoint and empathetic stance while hitting targeted benchmarks for processing speed and review quality.

Applicant Profile

Required Background

  • Language Skills: Native or near-native mastery of Ukrainian, paired with business English skills (minimum B2 level) to independently follow internal training tracks and company communications.
  • Work Authorization: Must hold valid EU citizenship, a legal Portuguese Residence Card (Título de Residência), or official Refugee Status.
  • Psychological Resilience: Capable of calmly reviewing sensitive online media and adapting smoothly to a dynamic, rotating work schedule.

Preferred Background
