About Us

Our mission is clear: Making e-commerce simple.

As an established e-commerce partner, we empower companies—from high-growth startups to mid-sized enterprises—to capture digital opportunities quickly and effectively. We stand for transparent, peer-to-peer partnerships, straight talk, and measurable results. Our team values authenticity, high autonomy, and a culture where mistakes are treated as valuable learning opportunities. As part of an international corporate group, our e-commerce solutions and Shopify apps serve a profitable portfolio of around 13,500 paying customers worldwide.

The Role

As our Performance Marketing Lead, you will take full ownership of the performance marketing engine for our Shopify App portfolio from day one. You will build data-driven acquisition processes, optimize our paid channels, and turn qualified traffic into app installs.

Over the next 12 to 24 months, you will shape your own career trajectory: as the app portfolio grows, you will progressively build and lead your own marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Paid Channels Ownership: Build, operate, and scale paid campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Shopify Ads, and content syndication channels.
  • Lead Gen & MQL Conversion: Drive B2B lead generation and increase app installs by directing high-intent traffic to our Shopify App Store listings.
  • Process Engineering: Establish, document, and transfer scalable marketing workflows backed by clear KPIs and reporting structures.
  • Scientific Testing: Work in a hypothesis-driven, experimental framework (Hypothesis $\rightarrow$ Test $\rightarrow$ Measure $\rightarrow$ Iterate).
  • Tracking & Attribution: Implement and maintain robust tracking architectures (GA4, GTM, Looker Studio).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Customer Success teams on feature launches, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Plan for future team expansion and step into a leadership role within 12–24 months.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience (ideally 4–7 years) with a strong track record in B2B lead generation (MQL focus) across multiple paid channels.
  • Channel Expertise: Deep operational mastery of Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and analytics suites (GA4, GTM, Looker Studio).
  • Mindset: A strong quantitative, systems-driven mindset—you communicate naturally through data (CPL, CAC, Conversion Rates, ROAS) and prioritize documented processes over quick, isolated fixes.
  • Languages: C2 German (native or full professional proficiency) and fluent English.
  • Remote Setup: High self-management and accountability in a fully remote environment.
  • Nice-to-Haves: Experience in the Shopify/e-commerce app ecosystem (Shopify App Store marketing), B2B SaaS background in the DACH region, or initial team leadership experience.

What We Offer

  • High Impact: Full autonomy to build our performance marketing system from scratch while working directly with the Business Unit Lead.
  • Clear Career Path: Direct progression path to Senior Marketing Lead and team ownership.
  • Work-Life Balance: 100% remote flexibility across Germany or the EU, flexible trust-based working hours, and 28 days of paid vacation.
  • Team Culture: Two yearly 2–3 day company offsites for real-world collaboration and team bonding.
  • Perks & Benefits: JobRad bike leasing, JobTicket, corporate pension plan, capital-forming benefits, Urban Sports Club membership, and access to a mental health platform.

*Compensation Note for EU-based Remote Candidates (Outside Germany): The target salary stated reflects the German labor market. For candidates residing in other EU countries, compensation will be adjusted according to local market rates through an Employer of Record (EOR).
