Job Description: German-Speaking E-Commerce Client Care Representative

• Workplace: On-site (Umhlanga, Durban office)
  
• Base Pay: R24,000 monthly
  
• Shift Pattern: 24/7 rotational schedule (5 days per week, 8-hour shifts)
  

Role OverviewWe are looking for proficient German speakers to provide exceptional service for a leading international online store. Working from our Umhlanga office, you will serve as the primary point of contact for online customers, assisting with order inquiries, delivery updates, payments, and general product questions. This role is a great fit for customer-focused individuals looking to advance in the retail and BPO sectors.
Main Responsibilities

• Multi-Channel Engagement: Assist shoppers through phone calls, live web chat, and email in both German and English.
  
• Order & Delivery Tracking: Help buyers check order statuses, arrange returns, and solve shipping issues.
  
• Issue Management: Resolve customer complaints effectively using empathy and clear problem-solving skills.
  
• Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the online catalog to give accurate details.
  
• System Entry: Record every customer interaction thoroughly in the CRM software.
  
• Performance Goals: Consistently achieve team metrics, particularly customer satisfaction (CSAT) and quality standards.
  

Candidate Qualifications

• Languages: Professional fluency in written and spoken German (at least B2 level) along with strong business English.
  
• Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma / Matric certificate or equivalent.
  
• Availability: Flexible to work non-standard hours, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled at navigating multiple software tools and operating systems at once.
  
• Experience: Prior experience in retail or customer service is helpful, though full paid training is provided.
  
• Personal Qualities: Adaptable, empathetic, and solution-oriented with a positive work attitude.
