Role Overview
As a German-Speaking Customer Advisor, you will serve as the primary link between our prestigious clients and their German-speaking passengers. Operating out of our modern Mosta office, you will handle inquiries via phone, email, and live chat. You’ll be responsible for managing complex itineraries, sharing destination expertise, and maintaining the premium service standards our partners expect.
Core Responsibilities
- Travel Planning & Reservations: Act as a professional consultant for German-speaking travelers. You will research, quote, and book flights, hotels, car rentals, and specialized tours, ensuring every detail aligns with the traveler's budget and preferences.
- Expert Issue Resolution: Manage disruptions—such as delays, cancellations, or lost luggage—with empathy and efficiency. You will be the "calm in the storm," providing real-time solutions and navigating travel insurance and visa regulations to help customers when they need it most.
- Market & Product Expertise: Stay ahead of the curve by maintaining deep knowledge of airline policies, global travel trends, and emerging destinations. You’ll act as a brand ambassador, turning every interaction into a positive experience that encourages repeat business.
- Collaborative Excellence: Work closely with your team and supervisors to refine our service delivery. You will participate in training sessions and provide feedback on customer trends to help us constantly improve the travel experience.
Candidate Profile
- Linguistic Skills: Native or C2-level proficiency in German is mandatory. You must also have a strong command of English (B2 level or higher) for internal systems and training.
- Customer Focus: A natural desire to help others and a patient, solution-oriented mindset.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly master travel software (GDS), CRM platforms, and various digital communication tools.
- Attention to Detail: Precision is key in travel; you must be meticulous with bookings, financial transactions, and record-keeping.
- Experience: While previous experience in tourism or as a travel agent is a major plus, we are happy to provide full training to motivated individuals with the right communication skills.
