About the job German Speaking Health Technical Product Manager (Remote)
Technical Product Manager – AI & Clinical Products (m/f/d)
Location: Fully Remote (Germany)
Industry: HealthTech / B2B SaaS
Compensation: €60,000 – €90,000 + meaningful equity
Languages Required: Professional German (C1) & English (C1)
About the Role & Mission
Our mission is simple: free psychotherapists from tedious paperwork through smart AI tools, giving them back vital time to spend with their patients.
As our first Technical Product Manager, you will take full ownership of our core AI clinical and administrative solutions from day one. Working 100% remotely within Germany, you'll operate right where advanced LLM capabilities, real-world therapy workflows, and medical device compliance (EU MDR) intersect. Partnering closely with our founders, CTO, clinical researchers, and product designers, you will map out discovery, craft specifications, design AI quality benchmarks, and bring brand-new features from blank page to deployment.
What You Will Do
- Drive End-to-End Ownership: Direct the discovery, specification, prioritization, and rollout for all clinical and administrative tools across a remote-first team setup.
- Guide Product Strategy: Establish and articulate our roadmap, balancing trade-offs across current enhancements and new initiatives.
- Uncover Deep User Needs: Connect directly with practitioners via remote interviews, shadowing sessions, and workflow observations to translate complex user challenges into clear requirements.
- Build AI Benchmarks: Collaborate with engineering and clinical teams to establish clear accuracy standards for AI-generated reports, translating these into robust prompts and evaluation frameworks.
- Draft Technical Specs & Prototypes: Write airtight specifications and edge-case models; use modern AI tools to quickly build concepts independently rather than waiting on engineering bandwidth.
- Embed Compliance (EU MDR): Integrate regulatory requirements (SaMD / EU MDR) straight into early product designs, aligning risk management and clinical reviews with your core workflow.
- Launch & Refine: Partner with go-to-market teams to release new functionality, tracking real-world adoption and iterating quickly on user feedback.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Haves:
- 4+ years of B2B Product Management experience, particularly where success hinged on solving deep product complexities over routine administrative management.
- Proven track record in complex/regulated environments: Hands-on experience delivering software within multifaceted, high-stakes sectors (e.g., HealthTech, MedTech, or heavily regulated domains). You know how to harmonize strict regulatory constraints (EU MDR), specialist user expectations (therapists), rigorous quality standards, and technical AI possibilities.
- Practical LLM knowledge: Understanding of prompt engineering, model limitations, evaluation frameworks, and what it takes to bring AI features reliably into production.
- Clear written communication: Ability to craft unambiguous specs, decision memos, and problem statements asynchronously.
- Hands-on execution: A proactive approach to drafting specs, creating test suites, and personally validating clinical outputs.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both German (C1) and English (C1).
- Location: Based in Germany for full-time remote work.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Direct exposure to digital health software or medical devices (EU MDR, IEC 62304).
- Background or foundational knowledge in psychology, mental health, or therapy.
- Experience scaling generative AI features or building evaluations for production models.
- Early-stage experience as a founding product manager or establishing 0-to-1 product processes.
Core Values & Mindset
- Empathy: We build with deep respect for those who help others, ensuring our technology simplifies workflows instead of adding friction.
- Trust: We maintain absolute integrity regarding data security, patient privacy, and team transparency.
- Quality: We prioritize technical precision and medical rigor over flashy gimmicks—our tools must reliably support clinical practice.
- Autonomy: High initiative, accountability, and self-direction in an asynchronous, remote-first environment.
What We Offer
- High-Impact Role: Partner directly with the founders and CTO as our very first PM, steering the direction of core products.
- Purpose-Driven Work: Directly lower therapist burnout by streamlining heavy administrative routines.
- Rapid Professional Growth: Work at the bleeding edge of LLMs, clinical research, and medical regulation.
- Agile Execution: Fast-paced environment where ideas convert to live production features within days.
- Flexible Working: Fully remote work setup within Germany, 28 vacation days, competitive salary (€60,000 – €90,000), and a generous equity share.
