We are seeking a Remote German-Speaking Customer Support Specialist to join our expanding team. In this position, you will provide vital assistance to business owners and merchants utilizing a premier Point of Sale (POS) platform.

Important Note: This role is entirely remote but restricted exclusively to individuals currently living in Portugal. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Role Overview

In this position, you will serve as the primary contact for business clients using an advanced POS ecosystem. Your main objective is to deliver top-tier, solution-driven support to keep their daily operations running flawlessly. You will calmly and clearly assist clients through various challenges, including software glitches, transaction errors, and hardware configurations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Assistance: Manage incoming requests from German-speaking B2B customers via phone, email, and digital chat.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Help business owners resolve technical challenges related to POS connectivity, software usage, payment processing, and basic hardware functionality.
  • Account Care: Assist users with account administration, billing questions, and system upgrades.
  • Record Keeping: Document all client communications, technical problems, and solutions precisely within the company CRM.
  • Issue Escalation: Recognize complicated technical problems and forward them to advanced support teams when required.

Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Languages: Native or native-level fluency in German (both written and verbal), paired with solid upper-intermediate (B2) English skills for internal training and company communication.
  • Residency: Must already live in Portugal and possess legal working documents (NIF, CRUE/Residency). Applications from outside Portugal cannot be accepted.
  • Schedule: Flexibility to work rotating shifts during standard operating hours.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable adopting new software platforms, managing multiple digital tools simultaneously, and translating technical instructions into simple terms.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in customer care, tech support, or industries like retail and hospitality (where POS systems are common) is beneficial but optional. Comprehensive training is provided!

Work Schedule & Environment

  • Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days a week, 8 hours per day).
  • Service Hours: Monday through Sunday, between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM on a rotating roster.
  • Setup: 100% remote within Portugal.
  • Equipment: The company provides and ships all necessary high-tech hardware directly to your home; you do not need to use your personal computer.

Salary & Benefits

We provide a highly competitive compensation structure for the Portuguese market:

  • Base Pay: €1,100 gross monthly, distributed 14 times per year (including standard summer and winter bonuses).
  • Performance Incentives: Up to €100 gross monthly bonus tied to quality metrics and goals.
  • Food Voucher: €7.63 net per daily shift, distributed via a dedicated meal card.
