Italian Speaking Content Moderator (on-site)

Key Responsibilities

As a Content Moderator, your mission is to ensure the platform remains a secure, entertaining, and positive environment for millions of users by reviewing and evaluating user-generated material against community standards.

• Content Review: Monitor, evaluate, and moderate Italian-language user uploads (videos, text, images, and audio tracks) to guarantee alignment with safety policies and community guidelines.
• Policy Enforcement: Identify and take swift, appropriate action on materials that violate platform rules (such as hate speech, misinformation, copyright violations, or abusive behavior).
• Trend Monitoring: Stay current with Italian cultural nuances, local slang, and internet trends to accurately understand the context of flagged submissions.
• Quality & Consistency: Maintain high accuracy, productivity, and quality scores in line with established project KPIs.
• Case Escalation: Route complex, ambiguous, or highly sensitive cases to senior teams or policy experts when necessary.
• Continuous Training: Participate in regular upskilling sessions to stay fully aligned with changing policies and new platform features.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

• Linguistic Skills: Native or near-native mastery of Italian (C1/C2 level) alongside a strong operational command of English (minimum B2 level) for training, interface navigation, and internal team messaging.
• Work Setup: Willingness to work entirely on-site at our contemporary office hub in Lisbon, Portugal.
• Technical Comfort: Familiarity with social media applications, short-form video ecosystems, and basic digital tools.
• Resilience: The professional maturity and psychological strength to review sensitive online media with an objective, neutral mindset.
• Work Authorization: A valid EU passport or an active, legal work permit for Portugal.

Preferred Assets

• Prior experience in Content Moderation, Customer Care, Translation, or a contact center environment is a plus, but not required. We provide a full, comprehensive training academy!
