This position is 100% remote and would require working from a home office, in which candidates may be located anywhere within the United States.
Job Duties:
- Analyze Human Resources policies and processes, including reviewing, creating, documenting, maintaining, and improving policies and procedures
- Ensure the integrity of employee data, including performance of regular audits and documentation of appropriate quality control measures, through the proficient use of all Microsoft Office tools
- Provide metrics that enable more effective management of Human Resources activities, analyze data for trends and prepare reports
- Provide analysis and recommendations in response to requests for new positions, new hires, and/or retention situations
- Perform on-site and virtual audits and reviews, to ensure compliance around Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Service Contract Act (SCA), and provide recommendations to reduce compliance risk
- Perform analysis on large sets of data, including employee compensation and other highly confidential data, with complete accuracy in order to provide appropriate recommendations and solutions
- Work with management and Corporate resources to develop, maintain and modify compliant job descriptions
- Create and distribute Human Resources communications
- Support business development teams in identifying labor resources and providing market or internal salary data, through the use of various compensation tools
- Perform site visits for project start-ups to assist with Human Resources functions
- Maintain current knowledge of employment and labor laws, including, but not limited to, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Service Contract Act (SCA)
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university required; equivalent years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- At least three (3) years of related work experience required
- Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project required
- Strong analytical skills required
- Experience with analyzing and managing large sets of data required
- Knowledge of Human Capital procedures, including recruitment, selection, compensation, training, employee relations and compliance
- Experience with Service Contract Act (SCA) populations preferred
- Experience working with Federal business development and proposal teams preferred
- PHR or CCP certification preferred
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform comfortably in an extremely fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
- Ability to consistently follow up on tasks
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
Job Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing analyses of numerous Human Resources programs and initiatives and making recommendations for continuous process improvement.
- Responsible for analyzing and reporting Human Resources staffing initiatives on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis such as: Turnover/Attrition, Headcount and Forecasting and make recommendations for action or improvement based upon results.
- Create, maintain, and analyze timely analytics/metrics on Human Resources initiatives such as: Employee Relations, Exit Interview results, Retention/Stay Interview results, LWOP, (attendance metrics) and make recommendations for action or improvement based upon results.
- Create and maintain any additional ad hoc analytics requests by the client, corporate office and project leadership.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining new/innovative reporting platforms to convey results using the allocated tools.
- Responsible for converting complex data into visually appealing presentation formats to be delivered to audiences at all levels.
- Assist the Human Resources (HR) department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all project employees in multiple locations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience.
- May have additional training or education in area of specialization.
- Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope & complexity.
- General application of concepts & principles.
- Contribute to the completion of organizational projects & goals.
- Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
- Apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
- Communicate on complex or sensitive issues or drafts such responses for supervisor or manager.
