We are seeking a skilled Red Hat OpenShift Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining our own and our clients Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud application platforms and the ability to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and configure the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
  • Perform Day 2 operations, including cluster scaling and pod scheduling.
  • Manage users and control access to resources.
  • Configure networking components and ensure network security.
  • Deploy and manage applications using OpenShift templates, Helm charts, and other tools.
  • Troubleshoot common container, pod, and cluster events and alerts.
  • Provision and manage persistent storage for application data.
  • Ensure application reliability and manage updates.
  • Enable developer self-service and manage OpenShift Operators.
  • Apply security context constraints and manage application security.

Requirements:

  • Proven (3+ years) experience as a Red Hat OpenShift Administrator or similar role.
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification is strongly recommended.
  • Experience with container technology and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of network security and SSL/TLS certificates.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Fluent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
  • University degree in the field of IT or any other relevant.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with RedHat ecosystem, including RHEL, RHEV, Ansible, etc.
