About the job SAP SCM (PP, MDM)
For one of our partners, we are looking for an SAP ERP Supply Chain Management Specialist with the described background:
Responsibility:
Responsibility for all logistics processes and activities concerning global ERP and SCM systems, including their ongoing optimization on both international and, if necessary, local levels.
Tasks:
GPO (global process owner) for specific operations of SAP modules, such as PP and MDM
- Operative 2nd level support (1st are local key users, 3rd are global solution architects)
- Coordination of local key users about the open process changes, optimizations, and relevant system tests
- Leading or participating in internal implementation projects to improve existing processes and introduce new processes in a specific department or across departments
- Preparing a technical specification for adapting and expanding the software and handing it over to the system architect for technical implementation
- Training of local key users at the locations and online
- Preparation of the necessary user documentation and training documentation in SharePoint / SCM Portal / Sol Doc
- Ongoing review of software or process changes and clarification/coordination with process owners in the event of changes (comparison with the processes at all locations)
- Identification and presentation of improvement potential in the interfaces
- The company's group-wide definition of unique keys, number ranges, and the attributes of a master data structure
- Content definition of user rights and design of authorization concept regarding creation, modification, and deletion of elements, as well as modification of attributes of a master data structure
- Identification, specification, and definition of interfaces to other systems
Integration of new SCM systems:
- Central internal contact for the implementation of tools for planning and monitoring SCM processes (intralogistics, inbound / outbound logistics) in existing or new systems
- Management and participation in project teams on the implementation of SCM systems
- Central contact for external service providers in the area of SCM systems
- Development of logistics concepts based on the requirements of the group locations
SCM Reporting
- Support in the implementation of group-wide SCM reporting for monitoring operational logistics key figures
Authorities:
- Review of relevant software processes and procedures
- Adjustment of specific software parameters in consultation with the system architect
- Planning and conducting meetings with external service providers in the area of ERP and SCM systems, and requesting offers and concepts.
- Right to participate, information, and veto regarding changes to the implementation project
- Requesting the cooperation of other departments and/or other locations in coordinating cross-system activities
- Procurement/requesting of committed resources in consultation with line managers.
- Requesting external support for GSM SCM
- Convening extraordinary and cross-location meetings
- Approval of orders (IT solutions, external expenses, licenses) in consultation with the system architect
Functional qualifications:
- Completed university degree (or similar) in the area of international business, logistics, applied sciences, technical direction, or information technology
- Several years of experience in ERP (preferably SAP S4 Hana) and/or in SCM systems
- Experience in project management
- Language skills
o English C1
o German B2 is an advantage
o Any other language is an advantage (Slovak, Spanish, Chinese)
