SAP QM Consultant

The SAP QM Consultant is responsible for the configuration, implementation, support, and optimization of the SAP Quality Management module.

• This role ensures the seamless integration of SAP QM with other modules and systems while aligning with global business requirements and standards.
• The position involves active collaboration with both local and international IT teams and business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for the SAP QM module within the organization.
• Design, configure, test, and maintain QM processes such as quality inspection, notifications, audit management, and quality certificates.
• Ensure integration of QM with other SAP modules (MM, PP, PM, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate quality management requirements into technical SAP solutions.
• Support SAP QM-related incidents, changes, and system enhancements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
• Support the creation and management of authorization roles specific to QM processes.
• Participate in cross-functional and international SAP projects, including sub-project leadership roles when required.
• Assist in testing and training activities related to QM processes.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements and system optimizations in line with new SAP releases.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Engineering, or related discipline (HTL, HAK, FH, University) or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience with SAP QM configuration and support.
• Strong understanding of quality processes and standards, ideally in the automotive supply or manufacturing industry.
• Basic ABAP knowledge for debugging and enhancements.
• Good knowledge of SAP integration with MM, PP, PM, and other modules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
