Our Enterprise Data Office team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Data Governance Officer.
In this role you will formulate, document, and manage enterprise-wide policies and standards for data, model, and AI governance while supporting executive and functional governance committees. You will drive regulatory and ethical alignment, enable cross-functional coordination, and contribute to awareness and literacy initiatives that embed responsible governance across the organization.

What the role will entail
- Develop and maintain governance policies covering data, model lifecycle controls, and ethical AI use.
- Ensure regulatory alignment by translating BSP, AMLA, Data Privacy, and model risk guidelines into effective governance controls.
- Provide secretariat and committee support by managing governance forums, preparing documentation, tracking resolutions, and ensuring accountability.
- Advocate for data and AI culture through literacy initiatives, ethical usage campaigns, and collaboration with training, risk, and data science teams.
- Monitor processes and impact by maintaining governance repositories and dashboards, tracking KPIs, and ensuring adoption across business units.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's Degree in either Law, Legal Management, Business Administration/Management, Risk Management, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Preferred credentials in Data Governance, Data Privacy, Risk Management, or AI Ethics (e.g., CDMP, CIPM, CRISC).
- 5 - 7 years in policy, governance, compliance, or risk-related roles, with exposure to regulatory liaison and documentation.
- Strong writing and policy analysis skills; familiarity with governance frameworks, regulatory compliance (BSP Circulars, AI model risk), and stakeholder engagement; proficiency in Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI, or similar tools; understanding of model validation, AI ethics, and lifecycle management preferred.
- Progressive proficiency in communication, collaboration, customer focus, critical thinking, responsibility, and results orientation; advanced strategic thinking, problem-solving, innovation, and ability to sustain high-performing teams and build a governance-driven culture at senior/lead levels.
