Our Compliance Team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Makati for the role of Regulatory Compliance and Governance Officer.
In this role, you will assist the Regulatory Compliance Head in coordinating and implementing the Board-approved Compliance System, focusing on business and compliance risk assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and providing compliance advisory support.

What the role will entail
- Assist in developing and implementing the Compliance Program, focusing on compliance risk assessment, monitoring, regulatory compliance, and aligning with the Bank's goals and strategies.
- Identify and analyze relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards, prioritizing compliance risks using the Enhanced Compliance Assessment Matrix (ECAM) for mitigation and monitoring.
- Coordinate the bank-wide implementation of the Compliance Program and update the Business and Compliance Risk Assessment Control Process annually.
- Provide advisory services on compliance matters and conduct regulatory training, including NEOP, for various bank units.
- Consult with regulatory agencies for clarifications on laws and regulations, and monitor regulatory issuances and requirements to ensure timely responses and compliance.
- Administer and update the ECAM, ensuring timely submission by BCOs/DBCOs, and assist in preparing year-end compliance assessments and reports for senior management.
- Review and ensure policies, procedures, contracts, third-party agreements, and regulatory reports align with updated rules and regulations, ensuring compliance across all business units.
What were looking for
- Holder of Bachelor's Degree in Economics or any related Business course
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Bank Operations, and 2 years relevant experience in Compliance
- Proficiency in the Regulatory Supervision framework, banking regulations, and understanding of IT systems, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent training, presentation, and negotiation skills, along with audit knowledge and general accounting experience (preferred).
- Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office applications, with strong oral and written communication skills.
