Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with PFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Ensure proper accounting records are maintained and review reconciliation of accounts, including bank reconciliations, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany accounts.
  • Supervise the staff to ensure deliverables are executed timely and properly.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and regulatory audits, providing the necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with other departments such as Loans, Treasury, Branch Operations, Risk and Compliance to ensure financial data is accurate and meets reporting requirements.
  • Prepare special financial reports and analyses as requested by senior management.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is highly recommended.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (PFRS, GAAP), proficiency in accounting software (e.g., GL System), and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and the ability to stay updated with changes in financial reporting standards.
