Our KOMO team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig City with the role of Back-End Developer

In this role you will play a pivotal role in the preparation of technical specifications, overseeing the analysis, design, and coding of programs. Your responsibilities involve researching different development solutions, understanding stakeholder requirements, and translating them into business requirements for the development team. Deep knowledge of the business domain, systems, and project-related capabilities is essential. You will collaborate with the development team to ensure a well-groomed product backlog containing user stories ready for development. Taking accountability for sprint planning and backlog refinement sessions, you will facilitate clear communication between the development team and user stories. Additionally, you will oversee the creation and maintenance of necessary documentation such as requirements specifications and change logs, aiding the development team in grasping the project within the organizational strategy.

What the role will entail

• Write technical specification requirements and plans phases of software development for projects
• Work closely with technical and functional vendor consultants, analyzing, writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software programs and applications
• Ensure that the technical requirements and their respective implementations for each ticket, as defined by the product team in the sprint, are accurately stated and adhered to
• Complete the Business Requirement Document (BRD) for any new project/feature implementation
• Ensure facilitation of backlog grooming and planning to make sure that sprint tickets are ready for development
• Ensure that development documents are completed and updated at the end of each sprint

What were looking for

• Bachelor's/College Degree in either Computer Science, Engineering or any related course
• Relevant IT/Project Management Certification will be an advantage
• At least 3 years work experience in Programming and 2 years exposure to analysis and design, preferably in Banking
• Proficiency on various software development methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Prototyping, incremental, Spiral, RAD, Agile), in-depth understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Knowledgeable on various programming languages including report writing software and application components, efficient coding methods and best practices
• Knowledgeable in various operating systems such as Windows, Unix, Linux, as well as RBDMS such as Sybase, Oracle and SQL Server
• Knowledgeable of platforms, such as web-enabled systems and client-servers, along with current Internet technologies, including web services and its variants
• Hands-on experience developing test plans
• Knowledgeable of applicable data privacy practices and laws
• Basic Project Management skills
