Our Retail Banking Group is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Makati in the role of Branch Operations Associate (Central Reconciliation).

As the Branch Operations Associate for Central Reconciliation, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency across stores, particularly in providing front-line and backroom support services.

What the role will entail

  • Regularly check and monitor General Ledger Balances of Cash Center Units.
  • Preparation of accounting tickets for manual posting by Accounting Department.
  • Charges/handling fees based upon crediting of deposit and allocation is based on actual cash transfers from Stores.
  • Write-off request letters for all CSD Units on BSP Shortages and BSP/Regular Overages.
  • Generate and submit Monthly Proof and Verification Reports to Accounting Department.
  • Manage accruals for operating expenses.
  • Allocate service charges from BSP deposit of Fit/Mixed Notes.
  • Conduct regular checks on Fixed Assets Inventory.
  • Perform closing procedures for General Ledger books.
  • Ensure all reconciliations comply with the Banks policies and procedures to meet the auditor requirements.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other support departments and Stores for timely reconciliation of float items.


What we're looking for

  • Graduate of a four-year Business Course.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in cash/branch operations in an officer-level accounting role.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with figures, demonstrating excellent numeracy and reconciliation skills.
  • Possession of strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Capability of adapting and performing under pressure to meet tight deadlines, effectively managing time and setting priorities, demonstrating initiative, and handling complexity related to volume.
