About the job Payroll Officer

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing and executing all aspects of an organization's payroll operations. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, bonuses, and statutory payments. Meticulously calculate wages, deduct taxes and benefits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Maintains payroll records, and prepare reports internally and externally.

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Review and Approved Final Payroll Register versus uploaded payroll inputs
  • Continuous monitoring of income tax being deducted to the employees
  • Validates and Approve the Monthly Government Remittance Report for both Contributions and Loans (SSS, Philhealth and Pag-ibig)
  • Withholding Tax Summary and remittances forwarded to Finance for payment
  • Manage year-end processing from Alphalist preparation to 2316 generation and submissions
  • Participate in all compliance and audit sessions and provide necessary documentation to auditors bearing in mind data privacy

Requirements

  • Must be a college Graduate, Financial Management, or any related bachelor's course
  • Must have experience in payroll processing, At least 4-8 years
  • Knowledgeable in tax computation, government numbers and leaves and attendance management
  • Willing to work under pressure and can work with minimal supervision
  • Must be knowledgeable with different Payroll Systems as well as proficient in manual payroll computation
  • Must have a high level of confidentiality
