Tech Lead, Senior Software Engineer, BackOffice & VAS

JOB PURPOSE:

The Technical lead will oversee the overall project timeline and scope of the deliverables being worked on by the Scrum team. This covers both the back end, web application or mobile developers. He/She needs to collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum Master regarding prioritization and overall product roadmap of development. Collaborate with the development team and the Product Owner to define and estimate business requirements and then translate these into specific software tasks. The technical lead will focus on the delivery of Backoffice application and value added services.

Leads the development team on the analysis of the requirement, estimation of the work effort and strategy on technical delivery. He/She should provide code review of the work done by developers and ensure the work of developers is in accordance with coding and security standards. The technical lead should work with scrum team to monitor and report on the progress of the sprint and make sure the sprint increments are developed on time, of high quality, and within budget. Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of production issues. Providing guidance on software development and making sure that codes are within standard and secure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• College or university degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Technology or related course
• 5-8 Years of Work experience as a Technical lead or equivalent role required
• Work experience in a bank, financial app, and/or FinTech app will be an advantage
• Knowledge in Azure platform is a must
• Advanced knowledge and expertise on handling mobile application projects and microservice webservice application
• Advanced Project Management Skills with experience on various Project Management and SDLC methodologies
• Able to lead multiple assignments, whether administrative or project related, while maintaining a successful level of completion in all responsible work. Able to mentor others to do the same.
