Our Consumer Lending Team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in BGC, Taguig in the role of Wholesale Head.


As Wholesale Head, you will lead and manage the team in generating leads, implementing sales acquisition programs, and overseeing the development and assessment of effective sales strategies to achieve Top Line, Bottom Line, and Market Share targets.

What the role will entail

  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance existing products and develop tailored offerings for depositor companies, ensuring alignment between product features and market demands to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop strategies to penetrate non-depositor companies, analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and crafting innovative approaches to reach target non-depositor and NTB companies.
  • Strategically develop and implement lead generation plans, while mentoring and optimizing team performance to exceed targets.
  • Prepare, review, and submit business reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth and innovation opportunities.
  • Execute approved sales acquisition and marketing programs within agreed timelines, while establishing agreements with other Bank units for effective implementation.
  • Lead and manage the team in conceptualizing and formulating business strategies and sales acquisition programs, including opportunities in emerging digital platforms.
  • Recommend and implement strategic alliances with external partners, including those involved in digital platforms, for mutually beneficial business objectives.
  • Initiate policy recommendations, process amendments, system enhancements, and automation to address evolving business and customer needs in the digital landscape.
  • Assess and evaluate processes and procedures to ensure adherence to the Banks internal policies as well as banking and industry regulations.
  • Resolve or endorse approval customer requests, approval payment requests, and approval program proposals within TAT.
  • Endorse or approve operating business policies and procedures within TAT, in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Determine and manage the team budget aligned with operational efficiency metrics.
  • Evaluate business financials, program performance, and productivity, recommending appropriate action plans.
  • Assess channel performance, customer needs, and industry trends to develop future strategic plans for targeted competitive positioning in CLC, aligning with the Banks Strategic Plans.
  • Plan and prepare the 5-year budget.
  • Evaluate team members' performance, identify, and recommend individuals for career progression, skills development, and training.
  • Conduct and facilitate meetings with team members, other Bank units, stakeholders, and external parties to ensure effective implementation of sales acquisition programs.
  • Oversee AML functions, ensuring compliance with AML laws, rules, regulations, BSP Circulars, and the MLPP.


What we're looking for

  • College graduate of any four (4) year course from reputable universities/colleges; Being an MBA degree holder is an advantage.
  • Five (5) years in a leadership role for sales and/or marketing of consumer loan products
  • Has background in Sales and Marketing, Business and Industry Knowledge, Project / Program Management, Product Management, Business Development, Cost-Benefit Analysis, Business Strategy Formulation, Budget Management, Data Analysis, and Numeracy, Planning and Forecasting.
  • Demonstrates qualities and skillset such as Customer Focus / Service, Oral and Written Persuasive Communication, Attention to Detail, Sales Disposition, Results-driven, Interpersonal Relations Skills, Multi-tasking, Negotiation / Building Partnerships, Strategic Decision Making, Comprehensive View, Creative Thinking, Critical and Analytical Thinking, Strategic Thinking and Foresight.
