Our Credit Management team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Credit Review Team Lead.
Lead a robust monitoring initiative for the Bank's Corporate Banking portfolio through thorough reviews and stress tests. Implement an Early Problem Recognition System to proactively identify high-risk borrowers. Regularly update the corporate credit policy to address new regulations and evolving risk appetites. Ensure effective evaluation of credit exposures across CBG, Treasury, Trust, and Mortgage Lending to enhance understanding of risks and opportunities.

What the role will entail
- Monitor the quality of the Bank's Corporate Portfolio through regular portfolio reviews and stress testing, and recommend actions based on the findings.
- Collaborate with Corporate Banking and Special Situation Asset Management to implement an Early Problem Recognition System.
- Review Treasury and Trust credit proposals to identify potential credit issues and mitigate risks, protecting the bank from counterparty defaults.
- Regularly update the Bank's Corporate Credit Policy to ensure compliance with BSP regulations and alignment with the Bank's risk appetite, based on gap analyses and findings from audits or examinations.
- Accredit real estate developers for the Bank's End-Buyer Financing program to ensure they can complete projects and buy back defaulted accounts.
- Assess historical performance, financial status, management character, and accreditation terms.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in business and/or any related courses
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is an advantage
- 7-10 years Credit and Account Management experience, with 5 years in a leadership role
- Extensive experience in corporate credit analysis and portfolio reviews.
- Comprehensive understanding of the provisions of PFRS 9.
