In this role you will be responsible for championing and embedding of sustainability principles and practices into the businesses of EastWest, through corporate social investments, EESG risk management and creating shared value. You will also have to foster engagement with relevant stakeholders with which the company shares common goals, through performance reporting and partnerships.

What the role will entail

• Develop an overall sustainability framework that serves as a guide for the sustainability approaches for the organization, in accordance with mainstream international sustainability frameworks and protocols
• Develop standardized sustainability-related policies and EESG management approaches, and ensure proper adherence to such policies by the various business units.
• Develops and designs strategic programs and projects which magnify the sustainability context of the organization and supports the achievement of sustainability goals.
• Deliver interventions to improve the leadership and functional competencies of leaders and managers in magnifying the alignment of business goals with sustainability goals.
• Develop and implement a strategy for the communication to stakeholders of the company's sustainability context, commitments and non-financial performance through various channels
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in fostering a culture of transparency, dialogue and collaboration on sustainability issues and shared objectives.
