Our KOMO team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Makati for the role of Financial Operations Manager.

In this role you will perform the daily reconciliation of debit card production and delivery, review vendor billings against trackers, and act as the second level resolver for customer complaints and inquiries, covering various areas such as digital onboarding, debit card deliveries, and general account inquiries. Additionally, you'll define policies and processes for accounting, reconciliation, customer service, card delivery, fraud, and AML monitoring, supporting new features and optimizing existing processes, including preparing BRDs for the back-office platform.

What the role will entail

  • Reconcile embossing file count with waybill orders from the 3rd party system
  • Prepare purchase orders if debit card, card carrier, and envelope levels are below re-order point
  • Update trackers and worksheets for reconciliation and as a source of data for analysis
  • Resolve escalated issues from CCCG related to EWRB Reconciliation, Verifier, or Komo Card operations
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports to monitor SLA adherence
  • Define new processes to support new products and features launched on the Komo app (e.g., loans, OTC transactions, etc.)
  • Handle billing verification, payment processing, and annual vendor renewal, including performance assessment, contract review, and routing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

What were looking for

  • Holder of a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or any related field
  • At least 7 to 10 years experience in branch banking operations or customer service with knowledge in account opening and banking transactions such as Instapay / Pesonet / ATM is preferred
  • At least 3 to 5 years supervisory experience in managing teams, as well as experience in policy and process creation, project management and launch of new services is required
  • Audit, Compliance or QA experience for Operations is an advantage
  • Familiarity with MS Excel including simple and moderate formulas to handle large file sizes for reconciliation.
  • Good stakeholder management and ability to present to senior bank officers / management team
