Our KOMO team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig City with the role of Transfer & Payment Technology Lead.

In this role you will be overseeing the overall project timeline and scope of deliverables for both back-end and mobile developers within the Scrum team. Your collaboration with the Product Owner and Scrum Master, is crucial for prioritization and aligning with the overall product roadmap. You will work closely with the development team and the Product Owner to define and estimate business requirements, translating them into specific software tasks. Leading the development team in requirement analysis, estimation of work effort, and establishing technical delivery strategies are integral aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will conduct code reviews, ensuring alignment with coding and security standards. Your collaborative efforts with the Scrum team will include monitoring and reporting on sprint progress, ensuring sprint increments are developed on time, of high quality, and within budget.

What the role will entail

  • Ensure completion of sprint backlog within the allotted time for the sprint, and oversee the overall project timeline and scope of the deliverables being worked on by the Scrum Team
  • Plan phases of mobile development for projects with Scrum Team and Product Owner, and work closely with technical (iOS and Android developers, API and Web developers, QAs) and functional teams (Product Team)
  • Monitor and decide on Change Management for the Android and iOS application as well as back office platforms, dashboard, and APIs
  • Handle and resolve escalated issues and concerns within the Scrum Team to upper management
  • Ensure features and products that will allow growth of Komo are launched on time and on budget
  • Be knowledgeable of the applications processes and operations, enough to suggest improvements and innovations on tech side for mobile app and back office development

What were looking for

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in either Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or any related course
  • Certification in Agile/Scrum, Six Sigma, or any project management and process improvement accreditations is preferred
  • At least 5-8 years of work experience in the capacity of either Head of Mobile Development, Head of DevOps, Service Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or equivalent role
  • In-depth understanding of Android and iOS app and backend development, and with experience working as part of an Agile team (Scrum and/or Kanban)
  • Advanced knowledge and expertise on handling mobile application projects and back office platform development
  • Advanced Project Management Skills with experience on various Project Management and SDLC methodologies
  • Experience in handling or leading a big development team
  • Excellent partnering, communication, and negotiation skills, and execution in working with various Technology or partner Teams
