About the job Branch Operations Officer (Policy & Process Development)

The Systems & Methods Officer (Policy & Process Development) will support policy development across at least one of our priority areas. He/She will support in Stores Operations Group and Systems & Methods policy projects, conduct research, developing policy positions, and producing reports.

  1. Determine and evaluate the impact of introducing new or revised policies and procedures to stores, customers and existing transaction processes.
  2. Develop written new policy and procedure updates based on new regulations, audit findings or improved processes and communicates these to the stores.
  3. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and procedures and initiates enhancements as identified.
  4. Acts as key liaison for policies and procedures being routed by BPPM for review and endorsement to the Group Head and Cluster Head for approval.
  5. Lead the review and discussion of proposed policy changes recommended by other units of the Bank.
  6. Monitor stores who are not reading SOG advisories and escalates these to the Regional Operations Head (ROH)
  7. Determine manual processes of stores for possible automation
  8. Ensure that alternative SOG repository of policies and procedures are updated and those which are already superseded are properly archived
