Role

To maintain the Exit Clearance System and provides operational and transactional support to clearing units. Works closely with the HR payroll team in achieving its objectives. Ensures that the processes are performed in accordance with set procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

  • In-charge of developing, maintaining and monitoring the Exit Clearance System
  • Responsible for troubleshooting the system.
  • Responsible for wide range of clerical tasks regarding clearance concerns to contribute to the smooth running of the department.
  • Assist in maintaining all aspects of the Clearance monitoring system
  • Recording movements of clearance and endorsement for payroll computation
  • Tagging of clearance status in the system once final pay check is already available for release.
  • Maintains tracker for resigned employees with or without legal cases and timetables to ensure that the team meets its TAT in an appropriate, complete and timely manner.
  • Custodian of final pay checks for release.
  • Provide high standards of customer service to internal/external clients
  • Classification and distribution of incoming/outgoing correspondence and processing of other documentation.
  • Secure confidentiality of confidential information and documents.
  • Application of appropriate procedures to tasks undertaken.
  • Ensure tracker is updated for the monthly KRA report/ output.
  • Ensure accuracy in crediting separation pay for provincial located resigned employees.
  • Reviews final pay check vs. the amount declared in the system prior to the issuance of clearance
  • Reviews remarks stated by the clearing units in the system prior to release of the final pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Mathematics or related course
  • Keen to details
  • Accounting or payroll experience
