About the job Product Designer

Product Designer is responsible for the user interface and user experience of the digital banking service app. He/she will be creating the end-to-end flow of new products and features of the app, taking direction on the business goals and objectives from the Chief Product Officer and taking into account the inputs of the Product Owner. The Product Designer is responsible for designing the app and the app experience, conducting user insight gathering methods such as surveys, FGDs, etc, making sure that performance, optimization, and ease of use is at the forefront of each design, helping create mockups of not just the app but of app representation for ad assets, and ensuring that each design released publicly (app, website, social media) respects and follows the brand guidelines.

EDUCATION

  • College or university degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Technology/Digital Arts/Design or related course.
  • Certification in UI/UX a plus

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 Years of Work experience as UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or equivalent role required
  • Work experience in a bank, financial app, and/or FinTech app required
  • In-depth understanding of the Android and iOS app development is an advantage
  • Experience working as part of Agile team (Scrum and/or Kanban) is a plus

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Advanced Design Thinking, Product Design, User Interface Design, and User Experience Design
  • Knowledgeable on various design thinking and planning methodologies
  • Experience in using Figma, Invision, Sketch, and similar designing apps
  • Able to create end-to-end process flow designs, taking into account both positive and negative scenarios when designing the screens
  • Familiar with business goals and objectives, app KPIs and metrics, and success indicators such as MAU (Monthly Active Users), MEU (Monthly Engaged Users), Acquisition, Engagement, Retention, Resurrection, and Churn
  • Experience in doing user insight gathering such as planning, designing, and conducting customer surveys, FGDs, etc
  • Ability to lead ideating, presentations, mentoring and group-thinking sessions. Ability to influence without authority.
