Our Corporate Banking team is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join us in Metro Manila / Luzon as a Credit Analyst and Review Officer (CARE).

As a CARE Officer, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of borrowers and supporting lending decisions by conducting in-depth financial and risk analysis. You will work closely with your assigned marketing teams, providing end-to-end support in preparing Credit Offering Memos (COM) and evaluating various credit transactions including line extensions, excess availments, renewals, and earmarks.

What the role will entail

  • Conduct financial and credit analysis of prospective and existing clients
  • Prepare and present Credit Offering Memos (COMs) to support credit decisions
  • Evaluate risks and recommend appropriate credit structures and terms
  • Monitor borrower performance and identify early warning signals
  • Recommend actions on restructuring, renewals, or collections as needed
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure timely and accurate credit processing

What we're looking for

  • College graduate, preferably with a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Banking
  • Preferably 2 years of experience as an Account Officer or Credit Officer in commercial and/or corporate lending, with a similar-sized or larger bank
  • Strong knowledge of credit evaluation, banking products, data analysis, financial monitoring and reporting, research, and risk management
  • Analytical and understands critical business and industry information that influences credit decisions
  • Articulate and proficient in both oral and written English
  • A good team player who can coordinate effectively with internal units
  • Strong time management skills and able to work under pressure to meet client requirements
