Our Corporate Banking team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Caloocan | Greenhills | Binondo | Quezon City | South Luzon | General Santos City | Cagayan De Oro in the role of Relationship Manager.

The Relationship Manager is responsible for establishing and managing new accounts, focusing on cultivating a high-quality loan portfolio. They conduct client evaluations, support various departments in bringing in new clients, and ensure efficient documentation and transaction management. The role includes originating and overseeing the growth of borrowing relationships while actively monitoring account health and implementing preventive measures.

What the role will entail

  • Responsible for establishing new accounts and relationships for the Bank as well as growing and managing a good quality loan portfolio. The RM conducts client calls and checks and assists in obtaining the necessary data to effectively evaluate the client's financial performance, management, and credit standing.
  • Provide support to Stores, Consumer Groups, Treasury, Distribution, Insurance, Trust, etc. in bringing and developing new clients, which could provide additional business for the Bank.
  • Ensure effective management of accounts starting from documentation to daily transactions as well as recommends improvement in process flow.
  • Responsible for the origination, management, and growth until the final collection of all the borrowing relationships in his portfolio.
  • Monitor early warning signals of account deterioration, responsible for problem identification and undertaking preventive or early curative measures.


What we're looking for

  • College graduate, preferably a degree in Business/Management/Marketing, Commerce, Economics, or Finance/Accounting/Banking with a strong finance or marketing background.
  • Preferably 2 years as an Account Officer / Relationship Manager in commercial and or corporate lending with another similar sized or bigger bank.
  • Working knowledge on banking products and industry, Marketing, Data Analysis, Financial Monitoring and Reporting, Research, and Risk Management.
  • For more senior RMs with ranks of SM and above, exposure to project finance lending is a critical advantage.
  • Analytical and understanding of critical business and industry information that will influence credit decisions; highly personable and able to manage relationships, especially in resolving internal and client conflicts and issues.
