About the job Systems and Methods Officer (Policy Specialist)

The Systems & Methods Officer (Policy & Process Development) will support policy development across at least one of our priority areas. He/She will support in Stores Operations Group and Systems & Methods policy projects, conduct research, developing policy positions, and producing reports.

  • Determine and evaluate the impact of introducing new or revised policies and procedures to stores, customers and existing transaction processes.
  • Develop written new policy and procedure updates based on new regulations, audit findings or improved processes and communicates these to the stores.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and procedures and initiates enhancements as identified.
  • Acts as key liaison for policies and procedures being routed by BPPM for review and endorsement to the Group Head and Cluster Head for approval.
  • Lead the review and discussion of proposed policy changes recommended by other units of the Bank.
  • Monitor stores who are not reading SOG advisories and escalates these to the Regional Operations Head (ROH)
  • Determine manual processes of stores for possible automation

Ensure that alternative SOG repository of policies and procedures are updated and those which are already superseded are properly archived
