Business Analyst

Job Purpose:

• Support the analysis and documentation of business requirements and processes within the domain to facilitate the implementation of effective solutions.

• Assist in the identification of business opportunities and challenges and provide insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and customer experiences.

• Contribute to the overall Business Unit goals by leveraging analytical skills and domain knowledge to drive process improvements and business growth in the banking sector

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders including retail banking, wealth management, and lending services.

• Conduct data analysis and generate insights to support decision-making processes and strategic initiatives.

• Support the development and maintenance of business process models, workflows, and documentation to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in the banking sector to provide recommendations for process improvements and innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree Statistics, Mathematics, or related field, with exposure to fintech concepts and applications.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.

• Understanding of banking products, services, and processes, with exposure to retail banking, lending

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for data analysis, documentation, and presentation.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, with experience in financial data analysis.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and familiarity with fintech-specific data sources.
