Our Corporate Banking Group is looking for experienced professionals to join us in BGC, Taguig in the role of Wholesale Officer.

As a Wholesale Officer, you will be responsible in generating sales volume through the effective and efficient implementation and management of different corporate and institutional sales acquisition programs and activities to achieve Top Line, Bottom Line, and Market Share targets.

What the role will entail

• Initiates strategic approach to engage with depositor company employees and effectively communicate the benefits of our Consumer Lending offerings.
• Conducts minimum of 8 meetings per week with depositor companies.
• Proactively identify and engage with leads, understand the financial needs and offer suitable Consumer Lending products to non-depositor companies.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports as required.
• Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
• Contributes to the conceptualization and formulation of business strategies and sales acquisition programs including opportunities in emerging channels in the digital platforms.
• Executes approved sales acquisition programs within agreed timelines.
• Establishes agreements with other Bank units to ensure effective implementation of sales acquisition programs.
• Recommends and implements strategic alliances with external partners including those involved in the digital platforms for mutually beneficial business objectives.
• Analyzes customer and business data/reports, and industry trends to discern key strategies and opportunities.
• Assess program performance, customer needs and industry trends to recommend future strategic plans to attain targeted competitive position in Credit Cards with respect to Top Line, Bottom Line, and Market Share consistent with the Banks Strategic Plans.

What we're looking for

• College Degree, preferably a graduate of any business course
• Preferably 2 years of sales and marketing work experience.
• With background in Sales and Marketing, Business and Industry Knowledge, Project / Program Management, Product Management, Business Development, Cost-Benefit Analysis, Business Strategy Formulation, Data Analysis
• Numeracy, Planning and Forecasting
• Able to accomplish tasks with accuracy, thoroughness, timeliness, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Has the capacity to exercise sound judgment in decision making that is beneficial to the Bank.
• Articulate and proficient in both oral and written English.
• Has excellent intrapersonal skills and is likewise able to manage issues involving internal and external clients.
