The Information Technology team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Head of Cloud Engineering.

In this role, you will lead the Bank's cloud strategy, implementing cloud solutions within the IT infrastructure while ensuring seamless integration, performance optimization, and adherence to security and compliance. You will drive innovation and business alignment by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and guide the organization through cloud migration. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, technical expertise, and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.

What the role will entail

•  Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with the Bank's business objectives, collaborating with key stakeholders to address specific cloud requirements.
• Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud, with clear milestones and KPIs to measure success.
• Oversee the management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, scalability, and effective cost management through performance monitoring and analysis.
• Implement cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices to protect sensitive data and meet regulatory requirements, in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
• Develop and implement strategies to manage and optimize cloud costs, establishing budgetary controls and tracking cloud expenses across business units and projects.
• Lead the migration of legacy systems to the cloud, ensuring seamless integration and optimizing applications for cloud-native architecture.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends, exploring innovations like serverless computing, containerization, and AI/ML to enhance banking services.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field Cloud certifications from major providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) preferred, with strong technical expertise in these platforms. 
• Proficient in cloud migration methodologies, tools, and best practices, with hands-on experience in large-scale cloud migration projects.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles, regulatory compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
• Practical experience with ITIL 4.0 and Agile methodologies in cloud-related projects.
